What is the Life Stand?
When a person is drowning, the rescue operation is usually conducted by the closest group of people. Individuals located within several hundred meters of the incident often have no idea that it is happening. The lack of proper equipment during the rescue of a drowning person often leads to tragedies in which the rescuer loses their own life.
The Stand of Life is an integrated audio-visual system combined with a lifebuoy designed to alert others of a life-threatening situation in the water. By integrating these components and connecting them to battery power recharged via solar energy oraz electronic control and notification system for rescue services (optional equipment), it enables rapid alerts in dangerous situations. The Stand has received a positive review from the Silesian Volunteer Water Rescue Commission for Technical and Technological Innovations in Water Rescue.
The device is equipped with a lifebuoy attached to a 30-meter rope, which allows the lifebuoy to be retrieved and thrown again if the first attempt is unsuccessful. It also includes one or two rescue buoys(depending on the version) used by rescuers during rescue operations. The Stand is marked with the beach entry number and the name of the location, enabling the caller to quickly provide information to emergency responders. After dusk, solar lights on the Stand of Life illuminate the lifebuoy and the posts demarcating the stand’s zone.
HOW DOES THE LIFE STAND WORK?
If we see someone in the water in need of help, we take out the lifebuoy and throw it to the drowning person. As soon as this is done, the audio system automatically activates, which can be heard within a few thousand square meters, and a signal strobe light turns on
The audio signal lasts for 1.5 minutes, which is enough time to gather all rescuers in one place. After this period, the sound signal automatically turns off to avoid unnecessary noise during the rescue operation. However, the light signal continues to flash for approximately 40 minutes, making it easier (especially at dusk or night) to quickly locate the spot on the beach where help is needed.

PROVEN IN ACTION

TAILORED TO NEEDS
The Life Stand Producer
The designer and manufacturer of the Life Stand is Piotr Sulecki, an entrepreneur and inventor. Since 2003, he has been a member of the Association of Polish Inventors and Rationalizers. He is a resident of Kuźnica on the Hel Peninsula, and living just 300 meters from the beach, he often pondered how to solve the widespread problem of drownings—this is how the acclaimed Life Stand was created. This most significant project by Piotr Sulecki has received numerous awards at international invention exhibitions and fairs.
He has also developed other inventions, which have received numerous awards and distinctions. Having been designing unique devices for over 20 years, he has been repeatedly recognized with awards and certificates that confirm the innovation of his products and their high operational quality. Piotr Sulecki has also been honored multiple times with congratulatory letters from the Minister of Education and Science for outstanding achievements in the field of invention.
The production and distribution of the Life Stand take place within the operations of Hamada Multi-Industry Enterprise.
